About Patricia Tejada
Patricia Tejada is a mother, wife, business owner and pastor who has a passion for helping others.
Born in Brazil, Patricia has called New Jersey her home for over 25 years. Her journey took a pivotal turn in 2015 when she founded Hand of Love, a non-profit organization with a mission to extend a helping hand to those in need while spreading God’s love.
The seeds of this mission were sown during Patricia's graduation from FITS – Faith International Training School Classe 28. It was here that she crossed paths with her classmate, Pastor Richard, who lives in Uganda. Pastor Richard reached out to Patricia during one of her missions to Brazil with an invitation that would take her to the heart of Uganda. The invitation was to preach at the 2015 Women's Conference in Jinja Town. Patricia, driven by faith and an open heart and eagerly accepted this calling. What she didn't know was that she was about to step into a place that would change her life forever and experience God’s presence like never before.
As Patricia prepared to embark on her journey to Africa, The Lord prepared for her, to not only enter Africa with the Word of God, but also with donations of Bibles and School supply for the kids in the village. After the trip she could not stop thinking of those in need, and that’s when she decided to take a step of faith, and by the Grace of God, Hand of Love was born.
