We believe in supporting the Christian response to the problems experienced by children and families in need.
Hand of Love exists to feed God’s children spiritually, physically and mentally by teaching the word of God, provide food, clothing and educational help.
- Who we are
Hand of Love was born in 2015
Patricia Tejada is a mother, wife, business owner and pastor who has a passion to help others.
Born in Brazil and living in New Jersey for over 25 years, she began her non-profit organization in 2015 with the purpose of help those in need and spreading God’s love.
Patricia had just graduated from FITS – Faith International Training School Classe 28, where she met her classmate Pastor Richard from Uganda. During one of her trips to Brazil, Pastor Richard emailed her and invited her to preach at the Women’s 2015 Conference in Jinja Town, in Uganda. She happily accepted. What she didn’t know was that she was about to step into a place that would change her life forever and was about to experience God’s presence like never before.
In the process of getting ready to enter Africa, the Lord prepared for, her to not only enter Africa with the Word of God, but also with donations of Bibles and School supply for the kids in the village. After the trip she could not stop thinking of those in need, and that’s when she decided to take a step of faith, and by the Grace of God, Hand of Love was born.
